Dr. Rafiu Abdulwahab is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Adult and Primary Education, Faculty of Education, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He obtained Master’s Degree in Primary Education and Ph.D Degree in Primary Education from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto and Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, PortHarcourt, Rivers State respectively. He is currently the Postgraduate Coordinator of the M.Ed Programme for Adult and Primary Education ,Institute of Education; Faculty Representative of the Board of the Institute of Education; Departmental Representative of the Quality Assurance Committee, Departmental Representative of the Internationalisation Committee, Undergraduate Departmental Project Coordinator, Level Adviser, among others. He was a Lecturer in the Department of Early Childhood Education, Federal College of Education, Kano from 2011 to 2015 where he held many administrative positions. He had about thirty eight (38) publications across local, national and international sources and also attended many academic retreats, workshops and conferences at different fora. He is a member of Early Childhood Association of Nigeria (ECAN), Primary and Tertiary Teachers’ Education Association of Nigeria (PATTEAN), Association of Nigerian Educators (ANE), among others. His teaching and research interest is in the area of Early Childhood and Primary Education.
